Mumbai: Sana Panscholi, the daughter of actors Aditya Panscholi and Zarina Wahab was set to debut as an actress in Viveck Vaswani and Motion Pictures Partners International, UK’s Direct Dil Se opposite MTV VJ Rann Vijay. The film to be filmed in London is being directed by Nishant Goel. But due to a problem with Rann Vijay, the film ahs been held up. Filmmaker Suneel Darshan was scouting for a new face to play the female lead for his new film Shakalaaka Boom Boom. He has zeroed down to Sana.
Shakalaaka Boom Boom stars Bobby Deol and Upen Patel. Apart from Sana Panscholi, it also has Celina Jaitley in the lead too.
Sana says, “ Shakalaaka Boom Boom is a love story.” But she fails to reveal whose love interest she is playing in the film. She left on July 4 to South Africa, where the unit is shooting for the film. Suneel Darshan did not want to comment on the film. “All my films are big-budgeted ones. My films are family entertainers too. It is just the beginning and I do not want make any statements.”
Aditya Panscholi feels proud for his daughter. “I’m happy that her career is growing. In the hands of big filmmaker like Suneel Darshan, she will soon find herself in big league.”
