MUMBAI: Shah Rukh Khan met the short-listed 24 Angels at Mannat, who will participate in the reality show Knights & Angels to be aired on NDTV Imagine.
The show is produced by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s television production banner Red Chillies Idiot Box.
Knights & Angels is a talent hunt for Kolkata Knight Riders team for Indian Premier League (IPL).
Out of the 24 girls, six winners will be chosen. The 24 girls have been selected after auditions in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkatta and Bangalore. The parameters for their selection were dancing skills, inclination towards sports and over all personality and attitude. The objective is to encourage sports enthusiasts to take active interest in cheer-leading and even consider it as a career option in future.
The show will go on air from 28 February every Saturday. The girls will be mentored and trained by Shiamak Davar and will be judged by Sourav Ganguly who is also the captain of Kolkatta Knight Riders team for IPL.
Red Chillies Idiot Box creative head-non-fiction Pranjal Khandhdiya says, "The 24 angels have been selected after auditions in different cities. Saurab Ganguly is the judge for the show."
