MUMBAI: After producing animation movies like Bal Ganesh and Ghatothkach – Master of Magic, Shemaroo Entertainment has now launched its next animation home production film titled Pangaa Gang.
Pangaa Gang, a 3D CGI animated film, is directed by Pankaj Sharma, who also directed Bal Ganesh. The movie is scheduled for release in summer 2009.
It is a non mythological film, set in modern times and is made keeping in mind the current consumption trends of kids. High on entertainment value, Pangaa Gang also addresses a social cause.
Shemaroo Entertainment vice president animation Smita Maroo said, “With children, it is important to register the characters of the movie, and to do so we have a sustained marketing and promotions strategy planned in the pipeline for Pangaa Gang. We are looking forward to reach out to kids across and achieve yet another milestone in the animation industry with the release of Pangaa Gang.”
