Shree Ashtavinayak acquires Partner rights

MUMBAI: While Eros International will be releasing Salman Khan’s forthcoming movie Partner globally, Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision has acquired the distribution rights of a few Indian territories of the film.


The film, which is directed by David Dhawan, also stars Govinda, Lara Dutta and Katrina Kaif. Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision will release Partner in Gujarat, Saurashtra, Maharashtra, Thane, Goa and parts of Karnataka territory.


Partner is scheduled to release on 20 July, 2007.


The company has also proposed to raise $50 million for long term working capital requirements for expansion of business activities including production and distribution of films in vernacular languages.
