MUMBAI: Eternal Dreams has appointed Shruti Anindita Varma as chief operating officer. Varma will head the films, TV and events division of the company.
Eternal Dreams managing director Sapna Chasturvedi said, "Having had spearheaded shows in different genres for multiple broadcasters and with many successful shows to her credit, Shruti brings with her a rich and fruitful experience in television programming in India and abroad. Shruti is sure to add to the talent pool at Eternal Dreams and create break through concepts for broadcasters which I am sure will take us on a different pedestal."
In a career spanning 14 years, Varma has worked with various production houses. "I am really excited because for me every job is a new and fresh experience and every production house a place full of talent. I just need to give them the right direction and the freedom and trust that Sapna has shown in me is very encouraging. Right now I am in the process of setting up my creative as well as production team and I have a lot of dedicated professionals both for fiction as well as non fiction who are already willing to be a part of the venture," she said.
Prior to joining Eternal Dreams, Varma was heading the non fiction and events division at Applause Entertainment.
