MUMBAI: Sify.com has been designated the official Internet partner for the Zee Cine Awards 07, to be held in Genting, Malaysia on 1 April 2007.
The portal will showcase performances by the stars as well as behind the scenes footage, which will not be shown on television. Visitors to the website can vote for the nominees and support their favourite stars on the ZCA website at www.zca.sifymax.com.
Sify will also feature interviews with actors, happenings around the event and attendees’ coverage. The portal will also offer some outfits made popular by film stars in recent films on an online auction.
Says DMCL CEO Abhijit Saxena CEO, “The digital space is a medium that promises an exponential growth. Our venture with Sify will fashion shifts in viewership patterns besides complementing the regular television viewership. People are starting to consume more media through web.”
