MUMBAI: Deepa Mehta has cast Soha Ali Khan in her forthcoming venture, Midnight’s Children which is an adaptation of the novel by Salman Rushdie.
Besides Soha, the film also stars Shabana Azmi, Nandita Das, Seema Biswas and Irrfan Khan. The film is slated to go on floor later this year and is slated to release in 2011.
Soha will also be seen in the forthcoming horror film Accident with actor Shiney and two comedy films; Chemistry with Shreyas Talpade and another one tentatively titled Phone Thief which is being produced by Fox Star.
