MUMBAI: Bollywood actors like Soha Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut will make their debut performances at this yearÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s Bollywood Awards Ceremony, which will be held on 26 May 2007 at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island.
Rang De BasantiÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s Soha and GangsterÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s Kangana have confirmed their participation in this yearÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s event.
Soha, daughter of yesteryear actress, Sharmila Tagore, and cricketer, Nawab of Pataudi, and sister of Saif Ali Khan, will be performing to a medley of musical hits. In addition to acting in a number of light-hearted and candy floss romantic films, she has also been critically acclaimed for her performances in Rituparno GhoshÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s Antar Mahal and Rakesh MehraÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s Rang De Basanti.
Kangana entered the Indian film industry with her portrayal of a bar dancer in Gangster and of a mentally-ill Parveen Babi in Woh Lamhe. She has also signed Suneel DarshanÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s Shaka Laka Boom Boom and Anurag BasuÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s Metro, which are slated for release later this year. At the Star Screen and GIFA Award ceremonies, Ranaut bagged the Best Debut Awards.
Also making their American-debut performances are OmkaraÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s Vivek Oberoi and TV actor Mona Singh (of Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi fame), who will also emcee the Awards ceremony.

The performers announced thus far for the Bollywood Awards this year include Akshay Kumar, Vivek Oberoi, Arjun Rampal, Urmila Matonkar, Neha Dhupia, Soha Ali Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Mona Singh, Raghav, Pakistani actress and singer Shahida Mini. Also attending will be Danny Glover, Phylicia Rashad, Anupam Kher, Suresh Oberoi, Upen Patel, Rajkumar Hirani and Dr. Sanjay Gupta of CNN.
