MUMBAI: Sony Pictures India will be releasing the animated film The Smurfs in India on 29 July, 2011.
This will be The Smurfs’ first 3D trip to the big screen in Columbia Pictures’/Sony Pictures Animation’s hybrid live-action and animated family comedy.
Directed by Raja Gosnell, the movie stars Neil Patrick Harris, Jayma Mays, Sofia Vergara and Hank Azaria as Gargamel. It has voices by Anton Yelchin, Jonathan Winters, Katy Perry, Alan Cumming, Fred Armisen and George Lopez.
