Mumbai: Star Gold is set to present the 6th edition of LUX Sabsey Favourite Kaun 2009, the biggest opinion poll in Bollywood. This December Sabsey Favourite Kaun (SFK) 2009 is all about `People’s Verdict’. SFK gives viewers not only an opportunity to pick the winners but also to get up close and personal with their favourite hero or heroine by becoming the Idea Sabsey Bada Fan.
Speaking on the announcement of SFK 2009, Star Gold GM Sameer Rao said, "Over the last five years of its existence, Star Gold’s Sabsey Favourite Kaun has become the ultimate and true barometer for judging the popularity of Bollywood stars and films. This year too, we invite audiences the world over to be a part of the largest opinion poll to crown Bollywood’s biggest, best and Sabsey Favourite for 2009."
LUX Sabsey Favourite Kaun 2009 has viewers from India as well as the Middle East, South East Asia, US, UK, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Australia and New Zealand voting in. With the scale of the exercise this year being unprecedented, a special Sabsey Favourite Fan float will campaign across the country in a bid to choose their favourite stars. There will also be the LUX Sabsey Favourite movie mela, which will showcase the best of blockbuster movies of the nominees beginning 17 – 27 November on Star Gold. The movies include International Khiladi, Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin, Jodi No 1, Kaalia, Apne, Krrish, Malamaal Weekly, Hello brother, and Hero No 1 to name a few.
