Star & TOI join hands for television show

MUMBAI: From 8 December commences Star One and the Times of India’s Lead India, a reality show with the objective of giving the country its next generation of leaders.


This task has been entrusted to eight budding contestants from Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Delhi and Hyderabad who think that they have what it takes to change the present scenario and lead India into a bright future.


Hosted by Anupam Kher, the show will have a jury comprising of Javed Akhtar, Kiran Bedi and Vikas Singh. The contestants will compete through a series of 10 episodes and the winner will be awarded a sum of Rs. 50 lakhs for their dream project.


Lead India will be aired starting Saturday, 8 December at 8 pm on Star One and a simulcast on Star Utsav, along with a voting special on Star Plus every Sunday at 7.30 pm.
