MUMBAI: TV 18 Group’s film production company Studio 18, which comes under Network 18, has joined hands with B R Films to co-produce Bhootnath. The co-production deal is pegged at Rs 250 million (Rs 25 crore).
The movie stars Amitabh Bachchan and Juhi Chawla with Shah Rukh Khan in a special appearance. It will be directed by Vivek Sharma and will be launched on 24 October.
“We have already signed a co-production deal with Studio 18 for Bhoothnath, which is worth Rs 250 million. The film will go on floors by mid-October and will be ready for release in the summer of 2007,” says Ravi Chopra.
According to industry sources, Studio 18 has also inked an agreement with B R Films for two other film ventures.
