MUMBAI: Maharaja, a 70 mm cinema theatre in Surat, backed by the Mumbai based Cinematic group, has been shut down.
Sources confirm that the Maharaja, one of the best single screen theatres in the city, has been closed since 6 March 2007. The theatre could seat 805 persons and had a capacity of Rs 18,917 per show.
