Sushmita gives away Pantene Shine Awards

MUMBAI: Sushmita Sen, the new brand ambassador of Pantene, announced on 20 September the Pantene Shine Awards to honor Indian beauty experts. The event also marked the global re-launch of Pantene with a new logo (the Shirra), packaging and brand philosophy — ‘Shine. I believe I can’. Sen has been associated with brand like Tag Heuer, Kiah, Levis and now Pantene. Commenting on her association with Pantene she says, “I have been using Pantene for the last 10 years, long before I even thought of endorsing it. I have to have a certain connection and commitment with the brand to endorse it. It means much more than a fat pay check.”  

Speaking about the their new product and promotion campaign P&G India marketing director Sumeet Vohra says, “The outer shine of great looking hair is directly transformed into confidence of one’s inner shine, which it what led Pantene to its new Shine brand philosophy of ‘Shine. I believe I can’.”

 In keeping with this spirit of this tagline, Pantene along with Whisper will launch an all women job hunt reality show in October on Zee News. Targeted at women, the shampoos are available at Rs 164 for 400 ml.
