Taiwanese film I Can’t Live Without You awarded Golden Peacock Award

MUMBAI: Taiwanese film I Can’t Live Without You was awarded the Golden Peacock Award at the closing ceremony of the 40th International Film Festival of India (IFFI).

The film is directed by Leon Dai who was visiting India for the first time.

Dai was awarded with a cheque of Rs. 40 lakhs along with a citation.

Apart from the Governor of Goa, Dr S S Sidhu, Goa Chief Minister Digambar Kamat, Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr S Jagathrakshakan, and Goa Assembly Speaker Pratapsingh Rane were among those who were present.

Dr Sidhu did the honors of presenting the award to Dai.
