MUMBAI: Studio 18 head of international operations Tanuj Garg, who quit the company in August this year, is slated to join Balaji Motion Pictures as CEO.
Sources close to the development inform Businessofcinema.com, that Garg is slated to join soon and will report to Balaji Telefilms Group CEO Puneet Kinra.
Garg will replace Vikram Malhotra, who recently quit Balaji to join Studio 18 as COO.
At Balaji Motion Pictures, Garg will spearhead and further the production, marketing, and distribution businesses.
When contacted by Businessofcinema, Garg said, "Yes, I am joining Balaji but please let the company make the official announcement."
After a stint at Applause Entertainment, Garg, has been with companies like UTV and Studio 18 in senior marketing, sales, and distribution positions.
