The Indian Film Company inks VoD deal with Saavn

MUMBAI: The Indian Film Company has inked a video on demand (VoD) deal with Saavn, wherein the latter has acquired 14 Bollywood movies. The films will be distributed across Saavn’s Cable VoD network on all major platforms in North America and the UK.

Saavn will make TIFC titles available for wide consumption using their partnerships with Time Warner Cable, Cablevision, Cox, Rogers, Shaw, and Virgin Media (UK), among others. The tent pole movies acquired from Indian Films include: Welcome, Jab We Met, Kidnap, Golmaal Returns, Dil Kabaddi and Singh Is Kinng.

Saavn managing director and co-founder Paramdeep Singh said, "We are thrilled to bring The Indian Film Company titles to larger audiences through our extensive distribution network, including our cable VoD network of more than 19 million homes.
