The Warrior’s Way to release in India in 4 languages with 350 prints

MUMBAI: The Warrior’s Way will be released in India on 10 December by Multivision Multimedia India with more than 350 prints in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Written and directed by Sngmoo Lee, the film stars Jang Dong Gun, Kate Bosworth, Danny Huston, Geoffrey Rush, Tony Cox and Ti Lung. The film is produced by Barrie M. Osborne, Jooick Lee and Michael Peyser.

The film deals with the world’s greatest swordsman, who abandons his warrior clan to start a new life in the American Badlands.
Lee says, “This is not a typical, formulaic film. It’s unique and fresh, with some never-before-seen elements that are combined in the right way and at the right time to make a really great film. The movie is about a hero who undertakes an epic journey and discovers other characters in crisis, which is a tradition of both Asian warrior movies and classic cowboy movies. I have brought them together in a way that is incredibly fresh.”
Rush says, “The Warrior’s Way is an Asian perspective on the rich history and heritage of the American western. The film is like a great fable. It’s so pure. There are so many beautiful and disturbing images as well as enormous storytelling energy to it that is timeless and universal.”
Multivision Multimedia India director Amit Jethani says, “The Warriors Way transports the audience to an imaginative world with a very Asian point of view as introducing Asian assassins into the Old West is a novel idea. It’s a broad, action-packed adventure with a tragic love story at its heart. India is now turning to be a huge market for the Hollywood films. We have seen with time that sometimes these English flicks give a competition to even Bollywood films. It seems that we now have a wide acceptance for Hollywood films and its growing over the years. Our Company has always tried to bring some top of the line films here in India and release them widely all over the nation. Thus keeping legacy of Multivision alive, we are bringing another Hollywood film to India and I hope audiences will like it very much as it has an Asian Connection too. In next few months we are coming up with some of the major titles in India like – The Mechanic starring Jason Statham, Season of The Witch and Drive Angry both starring Nicolas Cage to name a few.”
