MUMBAI: Tips Films is setting up a bunch of releases this season. Along with their big-ticket film Race up for release in March end, they are looking at various pop albums this quarter. The music company recently sought expansion plans in terms of film production and artist management which is now being materialized.
“Our initial plan is to launch one non-film artist every month and release a film album every quarter year,” states Tips Films managing director Kumar Taurani. Tips will be releasing Atif Aslam’s Meri Kahani by the end of January along with another non-film artist Adeel and later Stereo Nation. Earlier seen showcasing regional work, the company will not indulge in that frame for the time being.
