UTV Movies acquires rights of 25 films from Big Pictures

MUMBAI: UTV Movies has acquired the world telecast rights for 25 Reliance Big Pictures’ films from which 20 films will be World TV premiers.
 
The list of films include Rock On, Luck By Chance, Johnny Gaddar, 13B, Sikandar, Karzz, Aag, Marigold, Go, Love Story 2050, Summer 2007, Cash, Khoya Khoya Chaand, Say Salam India, Shiva, Gauri, Eik Dastak and Black Friday.
 
All these titles will be premiered for the first time on television on UTV Movies. Other titles include films like Dil Chata Hai, Border, Refugee, Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon and Gangajal.
 

UTV Global Broadcasting executive director Shantonu Aditya said, "Hindi movie channels are driven by titles and we have an aggressive line up of titles on the channel. This acquisition was a key step in this direction. With these 25 movies, our 400 movies strong library has become even more exciting. We believe that no other Hindi movie channel can boast of a premier-line up like ours."
