UTV World Movies to cover Toronto International Film Festival

MUMBAI: UTV World Movies will be showcasing the 33rd Toronto International Film Festival on ‘Terrific Toronto’ throughout September.

The channel will have its eyes on parties, red carpet, international hits and behind-the-scenes starting from 4 September.

This year 312 films from 64 countries will be showcased at the 33rd Toronto International Film Festival and over 500 celebrities from all over the world are expected.

Terrific Toronto on UTV World Movies will showcase a one-minute daily updates at 8 pm on weekends starting 13 September. This will be a half hour show  based on a daily feed of the red carpet events, interviews with stars and directors and access to gala parties.

At 11 pm from Monday to Thursday starting 4 September a selection of the best movies showcased at Toronto over the years – Iberia by Carlos Saura, Takeshis by Takeshi Kitano, The White Balloon by Jafar Panahi, The Spanish Woman by Steve Jacobs to name a few will be screened.
