Vidhu Vinod Chopra to film Broken Horses in Mexico, in talks with Cage

Mumbai: Director, producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra is gearing up for his next directorial venture Broken Horses which is likely to go on floors mid September and to be shot in Mexico over 60 days.

A source informs that Chopra is in talks with actor Nicholas Cage and the final cast is being decided.

Broken Horses will be produced by Vinod Chopra Films in collaboration with Reliance BIG Entertainment in mainstream English. The screenplay is based on an original story by Chopra himself. It has been written by Abhijat Joshi and Jason Richman.

Chopra recently met cinematographers, costume designers and line producers in the US for this film and made another trip to New Mexico with production designer Jeannine Oppewall and art director Nitin Desai to finalize locations. The casting director is Randi Hiller with Fred Roos as executive producer.
