MUMBAI: While the India offices of Vinod Chopra Films is buzzing with activity around Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots, which is due to release on Christmas, producer – director Chopra is currently location scouting in New Mexico for his next directorial venture Broken Horses.

Chopra, who left for New Mexico late last week, is in the US with his core creative team visiting and finalising various locations where Broken Horses can be shot.

Chopra and his team covered approximately 2000 miles in just three days across the length and breadth of picturesque New Mexico. He has been shuttling between Mumbai and LA for the last few months finalising the cast and crew for his ambitious Hollywood project.

Broken Horses, with a screenplay based on an original story by Chopra himself, is the work of award-winning writer Abhijat Joshi and script consultant Jason Richman. The movie, which is currently in the pre-production stage, will go on floors soon.
