MUMBAI: Post what might have felt like the end of a dream, the founders of international film school Whistling Woods have not given up hope.

As per the Court order, the school will continue to function in the current premises at Film City till July 2014.

“We will be admitting students and will continue their education on this campus till July 2014 and at an alternative campus after the same” said the makers to businessofcinema.com.

Weighing whether to apply for a review petition, or maybe even participate in the bidding process for the building that the state government may initiate, the goal is to continue operating – land, or no land.

“We are examining other options. Action will commence soon to ensure that there is a smooth transition to whatever maybe our new home.

“We have built one world-class institute from the ground up. We are more than ready to set up another, if needed, to ensure continuity of the Whistling Woods vision,” clarified the statement.

Chairman, Subhash Ghai added, “I am sure we will have all your support. We have built this Institution with pure passion and have invested everything we have financially and emotionally to this dream.”
