MUMBAI: Ever since Akshaye Khanna walked the ramp for Vikram Phadnis’ Salaam-e-Ishq fashion show, he has been inundated with similar offers with designers vying with each other to get him for the forthcoming fashion week in Mumbai.
But Khanna isn’t biting. “Salaam-e-Ishq was a one-off thing. It was embarrassing to walk the ramp since I had not done it earlier,” says the modest actor.
“Life is not about following trends. I am quite selective and believe in having my own sense of style,” he adds.
