MUMBAI: Yash Raj Films’ youth centric banner – Y-Films – will see its debut movie being release on 6 May this year.
Titled Love Ka the End, this an anti-rom-com that stars Shraddha Kapoor along with a fresh new cast. As reported earlier by Businessofcinema.com, the film is directed by MTV Roadies Season 4 director Vivek Bhushan (Bumpy).
Y-Films is headed by former MTV India head Ashish Patil. "Y-Films promises to deliver kick-ass films of the youth, by the youth, for the youth. And be a platform for new talent – both on screen and behind the scenes – who will challenge, break and set new rules of story telling. Get ready to spread the Y-rus," he said.
Films made under this banner will focus on the young covering all genres namely thrillers, comedies and chick-flicks.
The second film under the banner is also on floors and is being directed by Nupur Asthana, who had earlier directed comedy drama, Mahi Way for Yash Raj Television.
