YRF’s Pyaar Impossible & Tips’ Prince postponed to 2010

MUMBAI: Yash Raj Films’ Pyaar Impossible and Kumar Taurani’s film Prince which were earlier slated to release around the end of the year has been postponed till early next year.

Pyaar Impossible was earlier slated to release on 20 November while Prince was slated for 11 December release. However the reason for both the films being delayed is different. While Pyaar Impossible has been rescheduled due to the overcrowding of film releases in the year end Prince has been delayed because of the time taken in the post production of the film.

Yash Raj Films VP Marketing and Communications Rafiq Gangjee says, "Pyaar Impossible will now release in the New Year for strategic and logistical reasons. This prudent decision has been prompted by the overcrowding of film releases in the year end. The release date in January will be announced soon."

"We had earlier fixed the date of release as 11 December 2009, but since our film is very high on visual effects, the post production work has taken longer than anticipated. We now plan to release it in January 2010. We will announce the new date asap," explains Tips Industries managing director Kumar Taurani.

Pyaar Impossible is directed by Jugal Hansraj and stars Priyanka Chopra and Uday Chopra. The film is about a beauty falling in love with a geek. While Prince is an action adventure, directed by Kookie V Gulati and stars Vivek Oberoi, Nandana Sen, Niroo Singh, Sanjay Kapoor among others.

The other films that are slated to release towards the end of the year are Right Yaaa Wrong on 20 November, De Dana Dan and Kurbaan on 27 November, Radio on 3 December, Chase and Paa on 4 December, Ishqiya, Raat Gayi Baat Gayi, Rocket Singh – Salesman Of The Year on 11 December, 3 Idiots on 25 December.
