Zapak partners with Love Story 2050 for games

Mumbai: Zapak.com has announced that it has acquired distribution rights of merchandise of the movie Love Story 2050.

There are three products that will be introduced in the market—Space Carrier, Space Listener and Boo. These toys would be available pan-India and will be distributed through the physical distribution network built by Zapak.

Zapak chief marketing officer Arun Mehra said, "This tie-up with Love Story 2050 is our second step in the segment of merchandising. We are happy to associate with Love Story 2050 to distribute these products through our well-established network. This association also gives us an opportunity to leverage synergies with Adlabs, a group company."

Rocking Pixels has associated with Love Story 2050 to create a Bollywood-based 3D game that will bring realistic ‘avatars’ of the stars to the masses.

Rocking Pixels CEO Sanjit Daniel said, "When Love Story 2050 was announced, we realized that the movie will be a great fit to showcase our technology as it was futuristic and loaded with special effects. The game will be released as a massively multiplayer game and will feature exciting game play in a futuristic Mumbai, exactly as depicted in the movie."

Zapak will promote this game being created on the movie by Rocking Pixels and provide this game access to the five million registered users of Zapak. The game would also be promoted in Zapak’s gameplex network across the country.
