MUMBAI: Softfocus Telefiilms’ reality show Shabaash India on Zee TV is starting a new series beginning 19 May 2007.
After providing a platform and showcasing amazing people of India with mental and physical abilities; people who exhibit unusual physical abilities and breathtaking feats and those who have created world records or found themselves in Guinness or Limca Book of Records; now a new chain of series is planned on the Indian National Bravery Awards for daredevil acts by the citizens irrespective of ages.
The citizens will be picked up from various sources like – the Armed Forces, Police, Ministery of Human Resources, Fire Brigade, NGOs and local self Government organisations. Apart from these sources, the viewers of Shabaash India will also contribute in sending their recommendations.
The treatment of this segment will be in a docu-drama format. The story will establish the person in his locality where he will narrate his story in first person. Other people involved in the event will also narrate their experience. Parts of these incidents will be dramatised.
