Mumbai: Zoom has launched the official blog for its reality show Idea Bollywood Club along with LiveJournal.
The community has been designed to give contestants on Idea Bollywood Club an opportunity to express and engage one-on-one with viewers. Snippets, exclusive bulletins, opinion polls and uncensored videos are other interesting scoops viewers can enjoy, other than participating in the conversations. Bollywood personalities are also expected to blog on the community from time to time.
The Community can be accessed http://community.livejournal.com/bollywoodclub/
Active buzz will be generated online via Youtube, Rediff, Nautanki.tv amongst others. Promotions across all LiveJournal networks and users in India will be encouraged to participate.
Zoom digital head Sameer Pitalwalla said, "Idea Bollywood Club is the perfect platform for strugglers looking to break into Bollywood. We will take talent generated offline and feed their stories back into the community on LiveJournal and through video on Zoom |Audience Network."
SUP (owners of LiveJournal) director of corporate development Benjamin Wegg-Prosser added, "LiveJournal offers Idea Bollywood Club a ready-made community service and audience. We are thrilled to be working with Zoom to pull together what we hope will be one of the most lively and entertaining communities on the web. We hope users of the community get a real sense of the drama behind the show. Our partnership with Zoom is very important. This is our first project of this sort in India and therefore a special one."
