MUMBAI: Ganpati celebrations have always been huge in Bollywood, and this year it has not been any different. Many Bollywood celebrities welcomed Ganpati Bappa to their homes on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.
Over the years, Salman Khan has always brought the Ganesh idol to his house in Bandra, but this year due to renovations, the idol was taken to this sister Arpita’s home. That, however, did not stop Bollywood friends from making a visit. Salman Khan’s family, including Salim Khan, Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan were present as well as his sisters Alvira and Arpita.
At the same time, Vatsal Sheth and Prateik Babbar was also seen paying their respects to Ganesh in Salman Khan’s home.
Jeetendra, Vivek Oberoi and Shreyas Talpade were two other celebrities who welcomed Ganpati Bappa to their home. Rishi Kapoor, too, was seen bringing the Ganesh idol to their home in his car, although Neetu Singh and Ranbir Kapoor were not to be seen.
Rishi Kapoor’s brothers Randhir Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor were seen worshipping a Ganesh idol together as well.
Beside them, Bappi Lahiri and Rakhi Sawant were seen welcoming Ganesha at their homes. Now with visarjan continuing into the following week, it won’t be long before we see these bollywood celebrities coming on to the road along with Ganpati Bappa.
