Everyone remembers Hrithik Roshan’s dance steps. From ‘It’s Magic’ in ‘Koi… Mil Gaya’ to ‘Main Aisa Kyun Hoon’ in ‘Lakshya’ to ‘Krazzy 4’s title track to ‘Dhoom Again’ from ‘Dhoom 2’ – Hrithik Roshan has always impressed. And now he has returned with ‘Raghupati Raghav’ from his superhero sequel ‘Krrish 3’.
This time, Hrithik Roshan also has Exotic girl Priyanka Chopra along for company, and dare we say that she matches him step for step.
This is the second time we’re hearing the phrase ‘Raghupati Raghav’ in a Bollywood film this year. In ‘Satyagraha’, the bhajan was given a dubstep twist. In ‘Krrish 3’, only the initial few lines are taken to convert it into a dance anthem for party-goers.
The song shows us Hrithik Roshan’s character’s enthusiasm to celebrate a big moment in his life, involving Priyanka Chopra. The lyrics are a toast to her character.
Hrithik Roshan shows off his slick dance moves, as does Priyanka Chopra. At times though, Hrithik’s dance steps may come off as boring only because there’s nothing new here. We know he’s capable of such dance movements, but there’s nothing that will leave our mouth wide open in awe.
The song by itself is serviceable as well. Neeraj Shridhar, known for singing party songs for composer Pritam, returns along with Monali Thakur, but this time for Rajesh Roshan.
