Finally Bollywood superstar Salman Khan wraps up the shooting of Kabir Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan in Kashmir. Salman Khan who has been shooting the last schedule of the film from over a month, left from Kashmir Valley on Tuesday, May 19.
The actor was spotted arriving at the airport with his co-star Kareena Kapoor Khan. Dressed in black long sleeves shirt, and aviators, Salman Khan was spotted escorting Kareena in her car before leaving, getting off in his own car.
Salman Khan enjoyed and shared his experience of shooting in Kashmir before leaving from there. Falling in love with the beauty of Kashmir and promising to get back again, Salman Khan tweeted about his impression on Kashmir. According to reports, Salman Khan had no mood to leave from Kashmir. But before leaving he thanked every actor and met his whole team including unit members and security at Kashmir.
Almost thirty per cent of the film was shot in Kashmir Valley including the famous resorts of Pahalgam and Sonamarg. Also a qawali song was shot at a famous shrine in Ashmuqam area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district. While the major portion of the film was shot in Mandwa, Rajasthan.
Also actress Kareena Kapoor Khan and actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui joined Salman Khan at Kashmir for a week. The first glimpse of Kabir Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan will be shown on May 21 and also during the screening of Kangana Ranaut’s Tanu Weds Manu Returns on May 22.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan is an upcoming film directed by Kabir Khan. It features Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles, and deals with a romantic relationship between a Muslim man and a Brahmin woman. The film is scheduled for release on 17 July 2015.
