Celebrities Virat Kohli, Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, Amitabh Bachchan and others attended a star-studded premiere of “Sachin: A Billion Dreams”, hosted by master blaster Sachin Tendulkar.
Bollywood celebrities Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Kriti Sanon, Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, AR Rahman and many others attended star-studded premiere of “Sachin: A Billion Dreams”, based on the life of cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar, held in Mumbai on May 24, 2017.
The whole cricket and Bollywood fraternity came together to watch the much-awaited film on the big screen. The makers of the film hosted two screenings. The first screening was at 4.30 pm, which saw the presence of the Men in Blue and the other one which was held post 7.30 pm for Bollywood celebrities.

Also seen at the screening were B-town stars Kabir Khan, Ashutosh Gowariker, Asha Bhosale, Arshad Warsi, Sonu Nigam, industrialist Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita, among others. Bollywood couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were also seen at the screening. The duo were all smiles as they posed for the shutterbugs with Ambani’s at “Sachin: A Billion Dreams” screening.
The makers of the film left no stone unturned in making the grand premiere a big success.
“Sachin has proved his worth through his work. The term bat will do the talking is true for him. I’ve seen his ups and downs, when people were talking about his form but he has always kept quiet and let the game do the talking. His life is truly inspiring and I am happy someone decided to make a film on him,” SRK told reporters before the screening of the film.
Aamir Khan, who was also present at the screening, took the opportunity to speak about the legendary cricketer. He said, “For any Sachin fan, it’s an emotional film because we experience his entire journey again on the big screen. When I saw the film I loved it. All of us who are fans will love it, Specially his last speech which makes us cry. There are many qualities I admire about him. His passion for the game, love for cricket, dedication, hard work, the grace and dignity he has. He in an icon for all of us.”
Sachin: A Billion Dreams, written and directed by James Erskine and produced by Ravi Bhagchandka and Carnival Motion Pictures under 200 NotOut Productions. It is scheduled to be released on 26 May 2017.
