MUMBAI: In this digital day and age, where everything can be found at the click of a button on one’s smartphone, how can Bollywood be left far behind?

Adding to the slew of recent films’ launching applications, games and gossip websites on the advanced gadgets and gizmos, Aamir Khan launched the ‘Talaash’ movie app for Windows 8. Aamir Khan is always regarded as the most innovative marketer for his films, and ‘Talaash’ is no exception.

The film has launched a new movie application on Windows platform, for Windows 8, and the star revealed it at an event in Mumbai. With this cool new app, fans can get more information about their favorite stars in the film.

They can also read up about the film, watch trailers and even download wallpapers from the film.

Aamir Khan, as Inspector Shekhawat, showcased the fast and fluid Windows 8 and spoke at length about the ‘Talaash’ application. The man looked casual in a light grey tee-shirt and grey slacks, and seemed excited while talking about the new app.

Aamir is known to be a gadget freak, and this is probably why he decided to promote his film by using technology to reach a wider audience.

The crowd gathered at Oberoi mall in Mumbai, was visibly excited to see their favourite star launch a new initiative for his upcoming film.

‘Talaash’ stars Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Rani Mukerji, is directed by Reema Kagti and releases on 30th November, 2012.
