Dimple Kapadia is currently in news due to her new film What The Fish that is releasing on December 13, 2013. The film has been directed by Gurmmeet Singh and features Dimple in a lead role.
She is also planning to host a private screening of What The Fish for her family as well as her long-time friend and first co-star Rishi Kapoor.
If people close to the actor are to be believed, then Anees Bazmee has approached her for Welcome Back. Also few days back there was a buzz that the makers of the sequel are keen to have Amitabh Bachchan to play the part of Don RDX which was earlier essayed by the late actor Feroz Khan in Welcome, but then both the actors have not reverted on the same.
“Yes, I have been approached by Anees Bazmee but let the producers announce it. Producers have to answer as I cannot say anything at this point of a time,” Dimple told us when asked if she has signed Welcome Back.

Also, what’s surprising is that fact that suddenly Dimple Kapadia, has gone on record saying that she has been missing her husband late Rajesh Khanna. Dimple married Rajesh Khanna in the year 1973. They parted ways in 1984, but did not complete the divorce proceedings. She feels abandoned without Rajesh Khanna and says it is difficult to match his immense inner strength when confronted with death.
“It is very difficult to follow him because what I saw of him was a man of such extreme inner strength, there was no fear he had. He knew he was dying and there was no fear about death. He did not even talk about it,” Dimple said while remembering her late husband.
The news of Rajesh’s death also brought along long a controversy in the form of Anita Advani, who was one of the housemates of Bigg Boss 7. She filed a complaint against Dimple Kapadia and her family under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act. She claimed that she had been Rajesh Khanna’s live-in partner.
Also, there were rumors of Dimple Kapadia being involved with actor Sunny Deol. But they rarely made a public appearance together.
