Bollywood’s blue-eyed beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is on a streak of singing films after films as she has finally made a comeback after five years. Aishwarya has now revealed that other than the two films which were already in her kitty, the actress has now nodded yes for Sujoy Ghoshs’s next film ‘Durga Rani Singh’ as well. And from what it looks, it seems there is one more film for which she will soon discuss things with Ghosh.
Aishwarya apparently confirmed the news over an interview with DNA where she stated that she currently has the following films lined up – Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ starring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, Omung Kumar’s biopic on Sarabjit Singh and now Sujoy Ghosh’s film ‘Durga Rani Singh’. Apparently she was approached for two films including Balaji’s ‘The Devotion of Suspect X’.

Ash states that she heard that the film has got shelved, but doesn’t know what is going on with it currently. Nonetheless we’re happy for the diva who is being welcomed back to the industry with open arms by prominent filmmakers. Well naturally, when you’re Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, people tend to line up to work with you!
Aishwarya’s comeback film ‘Jazbaa’ starring Irrfan Khan has hit theaters yesterday on October 9. The film is doing decent on the box office, but Ash fans are overjoyed with the actress’ return on the silver screen. Apparently actor Irrfan Khan is eyed to be the lead actor in ‘Durga Rani Singh’. After actresses like Vidya Balan, Kangana Ranaut and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s link with the film, the venture has finally landed in Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s kitty. Well we’re definitely thrilled to see more from Ash and all we have to say to her is welcome back!
