MUMBAI: In a bold move, Bollywood action-man Akshay Kumar is going to interact with members of the Pakistani media on coming Sunday regarding his upcoming ‘Khiladi 786’.
The connect? The number 786 is considered to be holy by the Muslims because it signifies Bismillah in the Arabic script.
A member of the marketing team has explained how this will work. “We’ve organised a live video press conference where Akshay will interact with the Pakistan media from Mumbai. Since he is busy shooting for back-to-back films, he was unable to travel to Pakistan.” Akshay Kumar will also showcase the movie’s song ‘Saari Saari Raat’.
The actor is also super-excited about this upcoming interaction. The member of the marketing team has revealed that “Akshay feels that if he can help make the situation better (between India and Pakistan) in any way, he will be game for it. So he immediately agreed when the team pitched the idea to him.”
With ‘Khiladi 786’, Akshay Kumar is returning to death-defying stunts and action after a gap of almost 12 years and this is eight movie in the line up of ‘Khiladi’ movies. Actress Asin is starring opposite Akshay and the movie will release on 7 December.
Akshay is currently busy shooting for ‘Naam Hai Boss’, ‘Special Chabbis’, ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai 2’, apart from being involved in the post-production and marketing of ‘Khiladi 786’.
