When it comes to style and talent then the first name comes of Alia Bhatt and because of that movie offers are pouring in for her. And it looks like she is now being choosy about her future projects. Reports suggest that she has turned down Sanjay Dutt’s comeback film, Bhoomi.
After the actor has returned from prison, he wants the best project for his comeback and has chose Omung Kumar’s Bhoomi. The film is a revenge drama that revolves around father – daughter relationship. A report on Mid-Day has stated that the actor approached Bhatt to play his daughter in the film. However, the young diva has refused his offer.
Dutt is reported to have asked Alia’s mentor Karan Johar to influence the young actress to at least attend a script reading session. But that too didn’t work out. Sanjay even went to the extent of even speaking to Mahesh Bhatt to try and bring Alia onboard for this project. But Alia has denied working in the film.
She has become the most wanted actress in every filmmaker’s list after her outstanding performance in Udta Punjab and Dear Zindagi. The actress will be next seen in Badrinath Ki Dulhania with Varun Dhawan and Dragon with Ranbir Kapoor.
As per the reports that the upcoming movie – Bhoomi is going to be a big budget film. Sanjay Dutt is all gearing up for his big comeback. As reported by Sandeep Singh, the producer of the film, ”We are looking at kicking off the shoot near the Taj Mahal. I called up Maanayata bhabhi and said that if Nargisji (Dutt’s mother) had been alive, I would have requested her to conduct the pooja and give the mahurat clap but since she isn’t with us, I requested her to do it.”
Let’s see whether Manyata’s charm will make Alia give the project a go-ahead.
