MUMBAI: Of our list of flop fashion looks this week, repeat offenders Vidya Balan and Sonakshi once again succeeded in racing to the top of the list.

Vidya Balan, who was busy promoting her comedy flick ‘Ghanchakkar’ all week, had yet another run in with the fashion police, for her disappointing unfashionable ensembles. The lady seems to have left her sari days behind, and we are quite sorry to see that.

Spotted at yet another promotional event, the buxom Ms Balan chose another confounding outfit to add to her already-long list of fashion faux pas’. Vidya went crazy with prints, as her lazy stylist draped her in a bedsheet, oops, a long flowing dress, with a weird Charlie Chaplin print.

Meanwhile, another repeat offender aka Sonakshi Sinha had us frowning in disapproval. Sonakshi chose a shocking deep maroon lace dress for a promotional event for ‘Lootera’ yesterday, which had us screaming ‘Murder! Sonakshi has murdered her lace tablecloth and made a dress from it!’

Another disappointing ensemble courtesy the Sinha stables was the totally blah Indian look she donned for the song launch of ‘Tayyab Ali’ from her upcoming ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara’. An orange churidar, pale rust kurta and red dupatta did nothing to salvage this very boring, uninspired look. Ms Sinha, you’re a movie star, please look the part!

Other blah fashion statements this week were made by Parineeti Chopra and Deepika Padukone, who turned up in very boring, lacklustre outfits for Arjun Kapoor’s birthday bash. Ladies, take a cue from Katrina Kaif, who rocked the casual-chic look at said party.
