Baahubali 2 Will Receive Grander Success Than Baahubali: Rana Daggubati

The much awaited film of 2017 is S.S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Conclusion which is the sequel to ‘Baahubali’ (2015) which received a success and appreciation across the globe. It is now ranked as the third biggest Indian film which grossed a magnificent Rs. 600 crore.

The first look of the movie was released on Saturday at the ongoing Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival and it left the fans rejoicing and awaiting with greater curiosity now.

Rana Daggubati, who plays the main antagonist Bhallala Deva/Pallvalathevan, is certain that the sequel of the enormous magnum opus, Baahubali 2 will also receive the same appreciation at the box office.

Letting out the secret to the Baahubali’s success, Daggubati says, “Many people felt that it’s too big a film and too high budgeted. But the 1000 members of the crew who have worked relentlessly on making this gigantic magnum opus all believed in the project from the very beginning. We always knew it would set new benchmarks for sure.”

It’s been reported that Aamir Khan has also expressed his praise of Rajamouli directorial venture and mentioned on how ‘Baahubali 2’ would do business of Rs 1,000 crore.

When the Dum Maaro Dum actor was quizzed about that, he laughed before saying, “Bigger than this? I don’t know how you can get bigger than Baahubali. But obviously, it will do way more than 600 crore this time, also because of the inflation. But it’s also not just about the box office numbers. It’s about the excitement on the sets which is unmatchable.”
