Baahubali- The Conclusion Breaks Yet Another Record, Release In The Highest Number Of Screens Ever

Baahubali – The Conclusion is creating and breaking records at the same time even before its release. First, the film’s trailer became the most watched trailer ever on YouTube with over 100 million views (all language versions combined) and counting. This kind of viewership for a trailer is first of its kind and hence will go down the history of Indian cinema. Such wide-spread viewership is usually limited to only popular songs.

It’s been said that the Tamil version of the trailer was reported to be leaked which forced the makers to release the trailer in a jiffy.

According to reports, SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali 2 could hold a record for being released in the highest number of screens ever in India. The Chennai-based trade analyst Ramesh Bala tweeted, “#Baahubali2 will release in 6,500 Screens in India… Highest ever for any movie in India.”

Not just that, director SS Rajamouli revealed on Twitter that the movie has an IMAX format as well. He tweeted, “very excited that #Baahubali2 will release in @IMAX format, which enhances the hugeness & the spirit of Baahubali..”

Before this, Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ was in the lead with 4350 screen counts while Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ grabbed 4300 screens and Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ had 2500 screens

‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’, which features Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia in key roles, will be releasing in 4 Indian languages – Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi on 28 April.
