MUMBAI: What a perfect way to celebrate a birthday. Three-film old Ranveer Singh, who turns 28 today, will usher in his birthday with news of his latest release, ‘Lootera’ impressing cine-goers the world over.
The flamboyant, over-the-top, energetic young boy from Delhi couldn’t have asked his ‘Lootera’ director Vikramaditya Motwane for a better treat, than to release the film one day before his big day. The film released to great reviews all around, and Ranveer Singh seems to be walking away with a lot of praise and accolades for his subtle, restrained performance.
Ranveer’s first release was ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ in 2010, opposite his then-girlfriend Anushka Sharma. He was appreciated in the role of a typical loud, boisterous Delhi-wallah, and won a lot of awards that year for best debutante.
Since 2010, he only starred in one other film- ‘Ladies VS Ricky Bahl’ (2011), but that didn’t stop him from being in the news constantly.
His third release ‘Lootera’ is already creating waves in the industry, and it remains to be seen whether he can take his legacy forward in films like ‘Gunday’ and ‘Ram Leela’: big budget productions that Ranveer has been cast in.
We’re sure Ranveer will live up to the hype, and will continue to entertain us with his characteristic antics for years to come. Here’s wishing the superstar a very Happy Birthday once again!
