The film had a low weekend earning because it was overshadowed by ‘Rustom’. Akshay Kumar starrer flick is the main crowd puller after ‘Sultan’.

‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ had to suffer because of the intriguing film. The Diana Penty starrer was above average in its promotional activities and popularity. Nevertheless, the film received a very low collection on its first Monday.
The day wise collection of the rom-com is Rs.2.25 crore net approx. on Friday, Rs.3.50 crore net approx. on Saturday, Rs.4.75 crore net approx. on Sunday and Rs.1.50 crore net approx. on Monday.

The total collection of the film comes to Rs.12 crore net approx.
The weekday collection of the film is too low. The movie has experienced a decrease in its collections by 35%. The film might not cross a huge number at the box office given its Monday record. ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ was expected to do a business of around 25 crore at the box office. With such a low count on weekday, the film might hardly cross the 20 crore mark.
Moreover, with ‘A Flying Jatt’ releasing on Thursday its collections may further dwindle.
