Box Office: First Day Opening Of Banjo, Days Of Tafree And Parched

‘Banjo’ and ‘Parched’ have released on the silver screens today. Along with the two movies, many other films have also made their way to the screens namely ‘Days Of Tafree’, ‘Dil Sala Sanki’, ‘Wah Taj’ and ‘Yeh Hai Judgement Till Hanged’. All the films have witnessed a very poor opening on the first day of release. The other films are hardly accountable and the competition is an average between ‘Banjo’ and ‘Parched’.

Riteish Deshmukh and Nargis Fakhri starrer film ‘Banjo’ is termed as a major release along with Radhika Apte’s ‘Parched’. The two films could not show any colors on the first day at the box office. ‘Banjo’ has released with a 15% opening on the first day. The film did well in the areas of Maharashtra. The film has hardly attracted any viewers in the North areas like Delhi.

‘Days Of Tafree’ which is the Hindi remake of Gujarati blockbuster ‘Chello Divas’ has surprisingly made good a space at the box office with 7% opening.

‘Parched’ which was much awaited by the masses for its thought provoking concept has opened on an above average note.  All the three films are almost on the same level. The movies will suffer because of the surprise hit ‘Pink’.

Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Pink’ started on a low note at the box office but went on to grab more and more viewers because of its viral word of mouth publicity. ‘Parched’ still has a chance to improve its collections because of its good reviews and ‘Banjo’ might pick up in the upcoming weekend.
