Salman Khan has given back to back super hits. It was expected that Salman Khan would get the cash registers ringing in this Anushka Sharma starrer film. Sultan has crossed its second day at the Box Office.
Salman Khan’s Sultan did not beat the first day records of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, but it did beat Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The family oriented film directed by Sooraj Barjatya collected Rs. 39 crore net approx. (390 million) on the first day of release, Sultan collected Rs 38 crore net approx. (380 million) and Bajrangi Bhaijaan collected Rs 26 crore net (260 million) approx.

The second-day collection of ‘Sultan’ is Rs. 35 crore net approx. (350 million), Prem Ratan Dhan Payo collected Rs. 29 crores net approx (290 million), while Bajrangi Bhaijaan collected Rs. 36.50 crore net (365 million) approx.
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo two-day run at the box office was Rs. 68 crores net approx. (680 million), Sultan collected Rs. 73 crore net approx. (730 million) and Bajrangi Bhaijaan collected Rs 62.5 crore net approx.(625 million).
Sultan is a clear cut winner.
The advance bookings of Sultan were massive and the film has already earned a major chunk at the box office.
The reviews for ‘Sultan’ have been mixed but the film is definitely a mass entertainer. With a large target audience, the Salman–Anushka starrer is on a success spree. The theaters are witnessing house full boards with gigantic bookings.
