Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Fan’ has surpassed its second weekend at the box office. The film which was high in content and low in collections could not show much magic in the second weekend also. ‘Fan’ featured SRK in a double role. The film received highly positive reviews for its tricky plot but fell short of collections.
‘Fan’ directed by Maneesh Sharma has won applauds for its execution. Moreover, with SRK’s flawless performance the film was more for the classes than for the masses. The movie did good business in the metropolitan cities than in other areas. With no songs and mostly online promotional activities, the movie deteriorated in its collections on the weekdays.
The first day of release witnessed a high opening and since the second day, the earnings started to decrease. The Shah Rukh Khan starrer movie has finally crossed its second weekend too. The collections of ‘Fan’ for the second weekend are Rs.1.75 crore net approx. on Friday, Rs.2.50 crore net approx (25 million). on Saturday and Rs.3.75 crore net approx (37 Million). on Sunday. The total collection of ‘Fan’ for the second weekend comes to Rs. 8 crores net approx (80 Million). the total collection of Fan comes to Rs.103.25 crore net approx (1.03 Billion)
The film might cross the mark of 85 crore in the coming days. But will have to struggle to cross the much hyped 100 crore mark. The movie nonetheless is termed well in collections because no other films have done good business in the year 2016.
