Film analyst Tarah Adarsh took to his social media account Twitter to confirm the news saying that Madhur Bhandarkar is planning to start ‘Fashion 2’ in mid of 2016. It will be fresh new concept on the modeling world and will have a love triangle. He also mentioned that one of the top actress from Bollywood will be finalized soon. Check out his tweet:

Since the news is out, everyone is speculating that Priyanka Chopra is the name who might return in the sequel. The actress starred in the first part which got her a Filmfare Award in the Best Actress category. Kangana Ranaut, who played the supporting role in the last movie, also won Filmfare Award in the Best Supporting actress category. It is speculated that these two actress might return for the sequel. The rumours are also doing the rounds that Deepika Padukone might replace Priyanka Chopra in this installment.

Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar received tremendous amount of appreciation for showing the dark side of the modelling world. The actress Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut not only won Filmfare awards for their respective roles but they also received National awards as well. The film featured Priyanka Chopra in the lead role as Meghna Mathur, an aspiring fashion model. The story showcased her transformation from small-town girl to supermodel, the Indian fashion industry and the careers of several other models. The movie also explored feminism and female power in Indian fashion.
