MUMBAI: Fans of Salman Khan have yet another reason to rejoice. The Bollywood superstar, who is all set to release his cowboy-styled action-plus-comedy-plus-romantic flick ‘Dabangg 2’, has just crossed an important hurdle for the film.

Yes folks, the film is all set to reach out to more and more audiences, what with it being given a U/A certificate by the Censor Board. Which means worldwide, more Salman Khan fans will be able to catch their favourite, lovably corrupt cop ‘Chulbul Pandey’ at a theatre near them.

Here’s a flashback for all you Salman Khan fans: the first installment of this ever popular franchise was given a similar clean chit by the Censor board, back in 2010.

Continuing with the tradition, ‘the sequel can now be enjoyed with the full family. The dialogues are reportedly more interesting and rib-tickling this time around, and the action- more entertaining! The film reportedly has a run time of 2 hours and 5 minutes.

An interesting anecdote about Salman Khan is that his brother, actor and debutante director Arbaaz Khan thinks he’s no milkman.

Said the nervous director, about his superstar brother, “He enjoys the liberty of working in his own style and pace and the people who work with him just adjust to that. He is not a conventional actor who will report to set on a 7am shift. He says, ‘I am not a milkman who will go to work at 6am. I am an actor – let me sleep, go to the gym, have my coffee and then I will come at 10am and give you great stuff.’ So, we make little adjustments for him and planned the shoots in such a way that we optimize his time on set.”

‘Dabangg 2’ also stars Sonakshi Sinha as the leading lady ‘Rajo’ and Bollywood’s most-loved Kareena Kapoor in a very special item number. The film is scheduled for hit the screens on 21st December 2012.
