Salman Khan had proudly announced last year that he was the first one to spot talent in Deepika Padukone and even approached her for a film. But the lady then declined the offer.
To be fair on him, Deepika agreed that Salman did offer her a film but Deepika shot it down saying she wasn’t ready for films then. Well, we will give it to her. Maybe she didn’t think she was ready for big screen.
The wait paid off in the form of Om Shanti Om and a forever friendship with Shah Rukh Khan. But Deepika went ahead and rejected yet another Salman Khan film recently.
Reports suggest that Deepika was approached to be Salman’s girl in Yash Raj Films’ upcoming project with the actor. But the actress turned it down.
Now, no concrete reasoning has flown in behind her no but it might be because of her full platter.
Deepika will soon begin Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani alongside Ranveer Singh. She is presently wrapping up Tamasha with Ranbir Kapoor. She also has yet another film with Homi Adajania.
